Colegio de San Jose adapts virtual learning in the new normal in partnership with Globe

Under the directive of CHED, schools in the country are incorporating online learning as a means to continue education in the safety of home due to the pandemic. Both asynchronous and synchronous learning have been utilized under the online platform of Colegio de San Jose. The school’s partnership with Globe will help bring virtual learning to fruition with Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS) Lite.

The Brightspace LMS Lite serves as a platform of Colegio de San Jose in the creation and delivery of learning materials for students, thus making education accessible for all. “As online teaching is now part of the new normal, we’ve partnered with Globe in this transition. By acquiring Brightspace LMS, we’ve ensured that our students get individualized learning and access to lessons anywhere, anytime.” shares Leo Prieto, Management Information System (MIS) of Colegio de San Jose. “This is not the first time the school has partnered with Globe, as the company had already provided our school with internet solutions. Free training and add-ons are enjoyed by the school’s staff in the acquisition of this LMS,” added Mr Prieto further.

Upholding its quality and standards, Colegio de San Jose submits itself for accreditation in partnership with the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU), both the Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED) and Higher Education Department (HED). As the school accepts the challenges of the year, Colegio de San Jose finds ways and means in pursuing its dream to provide quality education in a Vincentian way.

#Recreate. The way we learn. By bridging teachers to information and technology that enable continuous learning, especially during times of crisis, Globe continues to prove itself an invaluable partner in promoting 21st Century Learning and in improving resilience in education.
